The world is still silent about the deaths of activists from Ferguson. The world is in no position of outcry about the recent death of Sadie Roberts-Joseph in July 2019. I am saddened by this because of course, no one ever weeps for black women. Not just cis straight black women, but the many of trans black women that go unnamed and for the black women sex workers and the young black girls victim to abuse in their own homes.. This is also for the late Toni Morrison who we lost this early August, you are missed too.
I want the world to weep for black women. Let there just be an entire month where the rain never ends and the blackness is not divided into shadows or into color but rather, into the beautiful shape of the sky in which our black women get lost and found at the same time. weep for black women world please, weep for black women weep for the women who cannot and can no longer world please weep for black women, weep for black women life for it is a short one in this existence World, weep for black women, I love you and I weep for black women because I am one too! *black women and girls, what divides a woman from a girl, tell me
